Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Materials: gore tex
Use: backpacking
Break-in Period: short, two days of wear is fine honestly.
Price Paid: $155

Great boot, totally waterproof. I'm not a fan of pure leather, so if you're looking for an alternative, this is it. Zero break in time. Very comfortable, no hot spots after a couple 15 mile days. The laces stay tight. The shock absorbing heels are not a gimmick, keeps your feet feeling fresh.

I would recommend these, especially for the price. However, I haven't put a whole lot of miles on these so I can't say much about durability. I will update after I put more miles on them.
