Rating: rated 1.5 of 5 stars
Source: bought it new
Price Paid: C$ 125

Summary

Great concept and the mud and snow claws work really well, but there is a major flaw. The inner sole is killing this shoe. If it gets wet (which it will in mud and snow) and you're pushing hard on the downhill sections you will find it slips all the way to the front of the shoe - Yes Ouch ... and then Rrrrr because you have to stop and take it off to flatten it out.

Pros

  • Great grip up hill.

Cons

  • Inner sole gets wet and bunches at the front of shoe.

I have run four 250km desert events and many 50/21 North Face and Dirty Feet races and the sole I assure you is not fit for purpose when wet and on the down hill sections.
