"The Salomon Men's Trail Pro 2 Trail Running Shoe's innovative cushioning system and light weight makes 20-mile trail runs seem well a little less crazy. Salomon placed different density foam under each part of your foot to cushion and control your entire foot strike. Cushioning material in the heel reduces impact, high-density foam under the arch controls pronation, and elastic material under the forefoot releases energy when you push off. The cushioning system, when combined with a breathable and compression-resistant Ortholite insert, limits impacts on the heels, knees, and hips on long training runs to reduce pain and injury.
