User Review: Salomon X-Adventure 7
Rating: ![]()
Materials: Nubuck leather/nylon fabric/plastic
Use: trail backpacking
Break-in Period: 20 miles
Weight: ?
Price Paid: $169
I just emerged from the brief break-in period of these comfy boots. The construction is holding up well, and they're pretty comfy. They could use a bit more cushion under the ball of the foot--a little bruising there, but not a major pain issue. A few blisters on my last 14-mile woods hike, but it was mostly my own fault for not stopping to dry out my feet & socks every now and then. My heel locks in well on downhills. I would buy these again. (The "saddle shoe" look is actually pretty stylin'!)
