This bag is excellent for kids. My boy is 6 yrs old and loves it.
It is small enough and light enough for him to even carry in his own pack. Plus comes with every feature available. Pillow, gear pockets, stuff sack and even a bigger connected stuff sack for long term storage.
Buy it! It is meant as a summer bag.
