Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars
Fabric: 2-ply gore-tex
Price Paid: $325 (CDN)

Decent jacket, roomy, good ventilation (pit zips stay WIDE open during use). Weakest point is (are?) the zippered front pockets ... pockets are fine, but zipper installation is sloppy on all jackets.... ends of the coil zipper are simply sewn-across and are not tacked... I ripped both of them off my first Ice Cloud just by putting a toque and overmitts into the pockets and bending over to tighten my boots. Tsk Tsk Sierra Designs, but other than that (and an unfortunate, freak de-lamination problem) it's a good weatherproofing layer... For the money though, look into a 3-ply. Outdoor Rec. Rules
