Price Paid: $95

This is a great sleeping bag! But you'll only find it on closeout, as it's been discontinued. If you find one for sale at a price you like, don't hesitate, it's a keeper.

We bought this for our daughter before our summer vacation, and she was very pleased with it. It's well designed, fit and finish is good and warmth to weight ratio is outstanding for a 600 fill bag. The zipper doesn't snag too much, and the straps that hold the Thermarest in place are fantastic. The hood seems to fit snuggly but still comfortably. Lastly the Robin's egg blue with colorful print lining met with her approval.

* Fabric weight is very light. Wouldn't be my first choice for a child, but fine for an adult. Our daughter is generally careful, I'll take a chance. No way I'd let her brother near it. He'd shred it in a weekend. ;-)

* Down-fill is generous with this bag. Many warm weather down bags I see in the stores seem to be missing half their down. This one is nice and full.

* Has no draft collar, which might have been a deal-breaker at full price, or if we lived in the cold, but at deep discount and with us living in temperate Virginia, we're fine with no draft collar.

* This is a woman's specific sleeping bag. It's cut with narrow shoulders generous hips, and fuzzy tricot in the foot area to keep feet warm. Until the owner is in high school, we don't have a lot to say about the fit.

We opted to buy this instead of a kids bag for our daughter because the kids bags are surprisingly heavy. Though smaller, kids bags are usually made from crude materials, and end up not saving much weight. One more thing to outgrow. With this, she can use it until it's shot. Then buy her own darn replacement.

Good luck!

This innovative, 35° women's bag is an ideal choice for three-season backpacking and camping--and is offered at a nice price! High-quality 600-fill-power goose down is warm, lightweight and compressible. Chest pocket keeps all your essentials--headlamp, watch, glasses--right at hand and easy to find even in the dark. Designed for women, with a narrower cut at the shoulders, wider at the hips and extra insulation in the footbox and torso areas where it's needed most. Full-length zipper with glow-in-the-dark locking zipper pulls is backed by full-length draft tube to help keep warmth in and cold air out. New, snag-free zipper tracks prevent the dreaded stuck zipper by creating a barrier between the lining and the zipper. Baffle construction keeps down from migrating, eliminating cold spots. Sewn from the inside, tucked seams prevent snags and reduce wear and tear. Pad Locks™, loops at the shoulders and hips, allow you to attach your bag and sleeping pad together for a more comfortable night's sleep. Fleece-lined footbox adds warmth and comfort. Ergonomic, non-restrictive hood cradles your head with warmth; differentiated drawcords let you adjust hood and neck easily in the dark. Stuff sack and storage bag included. Overstock.
