- Moosejaw

Sierra Designs' light-weight footprints add function, durability, and versatility to any of their tents. Footprints protect your tent from dirt, gravel and sharp objects.

- CampSaver.com

The floor fabrics used on SD tents are durable and long lasting and do not require the use of a footprint. However, we do offer footprints on certain models (Flash, Lightning, ect.) to add an extra layer of protection putting the direct wear and tear of the ground (rocks, sticks, dirt, etc) on the footprint. As a result you can expect your tent to last longer if you use a footprint, but it will require you to carry additional weight. We will let you determine how you want to backpack.

- Sierra Designs

With the Sierra Designs Yahi Annex 4 plus 2 Footprint you can finally protect the bottom of your tent against sharp hazards that lie hidden in tent spots, waiting to strike and tear holes in your shelter. This footprint was cut specifically to match the size and shape of your Yahi Tent and it connects directly to the Jake's Foot attachment points. A water-resistant coating fends off the elements to help your tent stay dry.

- Backcountry.com

Footprints protect your customers' investments from dirt, gravel and sharp objects. If mild weather or a particular trip demands a fast-and-light approach, then try "Fast Pack Mode" - using just the Fast Pack Footprint with the rainfly and poles to make an ultralight shelter. On average, it accounts for a weight savings of 30%, making it another tool in your fast packing arsenal. Fits perfectly underneath the model tent for extra protection and longer life-span.
