Exped Schnozzel

rated 4 of 5 stars A dual-purpose pack liner that works incredibly well as a fill bag for your sleeping pad. While designed to only work with Exped pads, a simple modification can adapt it for Therm-a-rest pads. Specs: Length: 27" Width: 19" Weight: 2 oz. Camp-Tek Microburst

rated 5 of 5 stars I use this on a Therm-a-Rest NeoAir and have had zero problems and never did all the stuff described in another post. I just hooked it up, went to filter some water, and came back to a FIRM air mattress. I even have to let air out of my Therm-a-Rest to make it comfortable. I love it. Can't add much to what was already said. Full review

The Instaflator

rated 5 of 5 stars Thanks, LoneStranger. I use the Instaflator and like it as well. I've been using the Instaflator for a while. Great when you've had a hard day at altitude where the air is thin and you just don't want to take the time and effort to blow up by mouth, especially for the 20+ puffs to blow up a wide/long pad. I also figure that mouth-inflating will introduce moisture from my breath to the inside of my pad, which over time will add weight, so the Instaflator probably saves its own weight, and possibly… Full review

The Instaflator

rated 4 of 5 stars Simple, easy to use, human powered tool for filling sleep pads or other inflatable gear. Packs light and small, no batteries required. Would probably work to inflate a pack raft, but definitely a great way to save some breath when making camp at the end of the day. My first reaction when someone here on Trailspace posted a link to The Instaflator was to laugh. Then I got to thinking about the advantages of not having to blow up my sleep pad manually and the idea didn't seem so silly. I ordered two… Full review

Exped Schnozzel

rated 4.5 of 5 stars This is a great multipurpose backpacking accessory for use with Exped sleeping Pads. Worth every penny of the cost. I bought one of these to go with my DownMat 7 mat. I had to buy a small adaptor so the connectors of this bag would fit onto the built-in pump of the Downmat 7. You may ask, if it already has a built-in pump why would you buy this accessory and add weight and bulk to your setup? Two reasons, ease and speed of inflation and dry bag stuff sack for my down mummy bag. First the pump function. Full review

Exped Schnozzel

rated 5 of 5 stars Easy to use. At the beginning I had a hard time using it, but with some practice my DownMat UL 7 pad was ready in less than 3 minutes. You just need to get the "technique" and then to repeat it. The pump came with my Exped pad. On my second trip in the high mountains (10,000 feet and more) two of the sides of the ending part, which goes to the pad, just separated and the hole appeared large about an inch. I was supprised, because it was new and used only once before. I still managed to use the… Full review

Therm-a-Rest NeoAir AirTap Pump Kit

rated 4 of 5 stars A simple and effective, high-volume inflation device. Overpriced for what it is, but cheaper than the alternatives. A relatively inexpensive, lightweight, and simple solution to the pad inflation problem. The kit comes with a 50 x 75 cm (20 x 30 in) plastic bag that can hold maybe 10 liters (just guessing). To put the device together you just poke a hole through the bag from the inside using the beveled end of the hard plastic piece, then slide the rubber tube over it from the outside so that the… Full review

Big Agnes Pumphouse

rated 3 of 5 stars The BA Pumphouse is too low-volume to be a good inflation device, and that property is the main feature that differentiates it from any other lightweight, waterproof, roll-top stuff sack. It does, however, have an unintended use -- it makes a good solar water heater. Although it is listed as just a stuff sack in the headline here on TS, it is really intended for use as a mattress inflater, with the suggested stuff sack and pillow as secondary uses. The bottom of sack has a little nozzle on it that… Full review

Therm-a-Rest NeoAir Mini Pump

rated 5 of 5 stars Lightweight, compact, great for air core mattresses when you have breathing issues. I picked this up when I picked up my Air Core mattress for winter camping. I have asthma and dreaded blowing it up by mouth. This performs great. All you do is start it and work on setting up everything else and come back and the mattress is filled. Full review
