Lightweight, interchangeable lenses. I had to replace my Smith Escapades (Lifestyle) because the cold weather snapped them, so I bought the Parallels with ignitor lenses. Just as the other reviewer mentioned, this color lense is great for varying light levels. I am going to try brown, next. I've had these glasses for 4 years and they have been perfect for cycling and running. The looks is a great mid-way between extreme racing and conventional leisure. They come with an optical-quality bag (you… Full review
Great glasses! Nice lenses, lightweight, durable, good price. Great sunglasses for a great price. I chose the black frames and am happy with the aesthetics. I was a little thrown off by the boxy retro look but it's growing on me. Very lightweight frame makes them comfortable. A little ear soreness after a couple hours of use but not horrible. Polarized lenses are very clear. I've only had them a couple weeks but they look like they will be able to withstand the abuse of biking, hiking, etc. Full review
Superb optics and great fit. Super lightweight. Great for running and biking. The Parallel frame wraps my face snugly leaving no gaps for air to sneak in. I have a smaller face (apparently) as Smith "medium" glasses usually fit me well. The frame measures 135mm from temple to temple hinge. My first outing with these was in full sun on snow. The brown polarized lenses are excellent. Cuts glare and enhances contrast. The Ignitor lenses are fantastic for overcast days or transitioning in and out… Full review
I have nothing bad to say about these glasses. The best sunglasses I have ever owned. Perfect for cycling and I am sure a lot of other outdoors sports. Very light weight and the feeling that I am not wearing anything is fabulous! I am worried about scratching them, although they come with a hard case and if I always put them in the case that shouldn't be a problem. I bought mine for just around $90, but I only got one pair of glasses with a hard case and a cleaner micro fiber bag and an extra nose… Full review
Although it is lightweight and fits well, the design of the adjuster damaged my jacket. Although the adjusters do not appear to be sharp, your natural head movements make their design dig into the top of any jacket with a high neck and gradually thread them. Once used, you will not be able to obtain a refund and Smith denies that anyone else has had a problem. Be warned! Full review
