Here's the book that covers the whole field of hiking with a hammock. It clearly informed me of the advantages of hammocks in general, but more important, it helped me to take the next step. Not being a "craft" guy, I ordered the Speer hammock with a extra large tarp. It works just fine! Thanks for the book you wrote and chatting with me on handling all kinds of weather.
- Strong materials and complete in functioning.
- Bagging it for quick release when rain hits! I really should have hung up the hammock earlier!
Plan on using the Peapod next week on the AT. It seems to be able to work well, and if this gear works as well as the hammock and tarps, I'll be toasty warm. Thanks!
