Rating: ![]()
Price Paid: $165
Even though the only reason I bought it was for running in the winter, I expected way more from this jacket after shelling out $165 ($180 after Chicago taxes). It's certainly warm enough, but so are three layers of cotton. After only two runs in mild precipitation, the beading-up properties in the rain are completely gone. SportHill says it "handles rain and snow." If by "handle" they mean soak up rain and snow like a sponge, then this jacket performs well. You do not want this sopping mess on your body when you're running in the cold. The look is totally cool, the function totally sucks. For wearing to Starbucks, not for running.
