SteriPEN Journey System Pack

User Reviews

Average at best. I bought this to use on scout trips…

Rating: rated 3 of 5 stars
Source: bought it new

Summary

Average at best.

Pros

  • Quick
  • Small
  • Light

Cons

  • Filter is clunky
  • Battery life
  • Unreliable

I bought this to use on scout trips to use with group purification. I have never gotten more than 2 liters purified water before I got the frown on the screen for battery being out.

I have read where you have to store the batteries out of the pen when not in use so, I try that next time. The filter is bulky and I use a bandana instead.
