Merino wool, good fit. I purchased the large size first (I'm 36" waist) and liked them, but subsequent purchases at medium did well too. Will continue to buy as needed.

Live in the mountains, great start to everyday dressing.

Summary

Superb.

Pros

  • Long legs don't ride up
  • Does not hold odor

Cons

  • Pricey even at $36 on sale

I wouldn't wear anything other than merino underwear for outdoor use year round and these are the best I've bought. I've tried Icebreaker (legs too short and fabric rides up) and SmartWool (not bad).

Good midweight fabric here and grips the legs well, but not constrictive in the groin.
