Rating: ![]()
Source: bought it new
Price Paid: $50
Summary
A high quality pair of sunglasses that doesn't break the bank. Polarized, with a couple of nice features, rubberized nosepiece, rubberized behind the ear.
Pros
- Inexpensive for quality
- Polarized
- Rubberized nosepiece and behind the ear
Cons
- No protective bag/case with purchase
Suncloud is Smith's lower line of sunglasses, and they are a fantastic value! After retiring a BEAT UP pair of shades of 7 years, it was time to renew. I have been extremely impressed with these shades; scratch resistant, polarized and comfortable. I can't tell the difference in lens quality from my buddy's SUPER high dollar boating sport sunglasses.
I have accessorized my glasses with the basic Lanyard style cord, and there's no interference with fit or comfort. The rubberized ear pads are very nice, and properly fit over the temple area. The rubberized nosepiece is also very comfortable, and streamlined with the product.
I take good care of my sunglasses, these are still scratch-free after over three months of almost daily use. I would not hesitate to purchase these sunglasses again...
