Too complicated and unreliable.

Pros

  • Comprehensive

Cons

  • Complicated
  • Access to battery

Too complicated to remember. The battery battery compartment is difficult to open (no manuals available online either). A limited number of controls means extensive functionality is definitely not going to be intuitive to operate.

I took the Data Center with me to Little Yosemite Valley. It operated well as a necklace-type timepiece and was quite durable. But I can't see using its other functions without fishing for your reading glasses, dragging out the user manual and sitting on a rock for a while.

Even that won't always help. I still haven't figured out how to get into alarm mode. "Press S/S" doesn't do it. The user manual looks like it was written by a Chinese programmer (btw it's made in China) — inscrutable and over-analyzed.
