Use: dayhiking and 2-4 day trips
Break-in Period: about 2 days should get the job done

These boots are extremely rugged. I have been using them for about 2-3 years now, and they have held up awesome. They have been used mostly for day hikes in the Whites, and the longest trip I used them on was a 4-day hut-to-hut trip. These boots are extremely comfortable, and over the time that I have used them, I am 100% satisfied. Definitely a smart choice for day hikers and overnighters.
