This is overall a good jacket. It fits good. I have used it down to about 35 degrees but it would be warmer with a Triclimate shell. It doesn't really shed down feathers. The outer material is not waterproof but it is rather thick compared to other down outer layers.
Overall, it is a pretty good, warm jacket.
