From Backcountry.com:
"The North Face Aleutian Bx Sleeping Bag, named for the string of Arctic islands between Alaska and Siberia, masterfully retains heat in below freezing temperatures. The North Face has developed an overlapping shingle construction that, coupled with Heatshield Optimal Technology, virtually eliminates cold spots in your sleeping bag. A hood with adjustable drawcord lets you regulate the amount of heat that remains trapped in the bag, and a lined zipper column backed with an insulated draft tube prevents snags when you need to zip up. Keep your thermometer handy in the external chest pocket so you can see exactly how cold it gets outside and smile at how toasty you stay inside."
From Altrec Outdoors:
"Whether you're camping or hiking up to the high alpine, The North Face Aleutian Bx Sleeping Bag is a great family-friendly design that offers a balance of practical adjustments and insulated comfort features. Comfort rated at 20F (-7C), the Aleutian Bx is just the right temperature for three-season backpacking trips, although you may need to leave it unzipped while sleeping through warm summer nights. The side zipper opens all the way down to just above the footbox, and there's also a full-length draft tube. The North Face used an overlapping shingle construction that effectively eliminates cold spots, even if the fast-drying synthetic H.O.T. (that's Heatshield Optimal Technology) SL insulation slips around a bit over years of use. Along the hood and chest you'll find adjustable drawcords for cinching in the warmth, although most summer campers prefer to keep things loose and breathable. The North Face also added an external zippered chest pocket on the Aleutian Bx that's sized perfectly for your watch and a small flashlight. If you like the features but you feel constrained by the close mummy fit, check out The North Face Dolomite Bx Sleeping Bag--it has the same comfort rating with a roomy rectangular design."
From RockCreek:
"The Aleutian Bx 20 Sleeping Bag by The North Face is a new bag out for the spring season that offers incredible warmth for your camping experience. Constructed with a Heatshield Optimal Technology (H.O.T. SL) synthetic insulation that was created by The North Face themselves. Built with 100% polyester hollow core fibers, the Aleutian Bx offers powerful thermal efficiency, because the fibers are of variable thickness, they compress easily without breaking down, giving you a bag that's convenient to pack, yet doesn't lose its softness, warmth or high loft."

Totally happy with the bag's performance. Is warm enough. Pack down size is not too bad with the included stuff suck. Can be compressed further with an after market compression sack (I never felt that it made enough difference to mess with this)."
