This bag is sweet! packs down to a grapefruit and is properly rated for temp. I can even squeeze colder temps if I layer up and boil water to snuggle with.
I don't mind the short zipper situation for weight and insulation boost. It may take a sec to adjust from a full zip, but warmth to weight/pack size makes up for the lack of a "quilt" style full zip.
For ultralight this is the way to go. this bag makes the top 10... in fact i think it's 6th for sleeping bags on backpackinglight.com gear reviews.
To sum it up this is a great bag to add to a COLLECTION of bags so you can choose depending on your trip. Price point is very comparable to others of its own class.
