For a $80 bag this was a bit of a surprise.

Pros

  • Warm
  • Comfortable for side sleepers

Cons

  • A bit heavy
  • Packs large

I bought this bag after spending a 15 degree night in a bag I don't think was ever meant to go below 40. It was my first mummy bag and I though it would be extremely tight and constrictive. I couldn't have been further from the truth. It has a perfect balance of warmth and comfort which makes it comfortable no matter what position you sleep in.

Unfortunately, $80 synthetic bags don't compress very well and are certainly not light.  This one stuffs to about 10"x14" and weighs at least 3 lbs.  However, it is the most comfortable sleeping bag I have ever owned and I use it at any chance I can get.
