I have owned the Bug 33 for over a year. It is a great 2 person + dog, or kid, + gear tent. I car-camped once with the wife and it was everything a tent is suppose to be. Easy to set up, keeps you dry, great vestibule for storage and lots of room to change clothes inside. It was the summer and the ventilation was good also.

Last fall I took it down into the Cohutta Wilderness on a backpack trip and shared the weight of the tent with my son-in-law. At 8.5lbs, it is a wee bit heavy to haul around, but again, plenty-o-room for two (my son-in-law is 6'3") and gear inside. We even forgot the tent stakes and it stood up well on its own with just a couple of home-made wood stakes.

It's a up-to-standard quality-made North Face tent that I would recommend to any small family. I have a smaller 2-man North Face I normally use for backpacking.
