User Review: The North Face City Peak Parka (Ladies)

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Fabric: shell - polyester; lining - nylon
Price Paid: 180 pounds (but I got it half price!)

What can I say, but this is the best buy I've had this year! Bought it at Ellis Brigham's (London) brilliant sale in mid-September 2000. At half price (I paid 90 pounds) it is definitely worth its weight in gold! It's got Gore-Tex, and is so light yet comfortable, and breathable, waterproof and windproof to boot! I've worn it to work in London, while cycling, and scrambling and climbing all over Tryfan in North Wales. It's such a versatile parka, and has two zipped pockets on either side, plus a Napolean pocket on the right breast side, and a fixed roll-away hood. The colour - Rainier/Night is a cobalt blue, and very trendy!
