User Review: The North Face Climber 3D

Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars
Design: Mummy
Fill: Polarguard 3D
Temperature Rating: 35 F
Weight: 1 lb 11 oz
Price Paid: $169

Very light weight & compressable. Breatheable rip stop outer nylon shell with a taffeta inner lining. 2 way hip length zipper for ventilation. Draft tube. Adjustable hood. Rated at 35+ degrees but I feel that is a bit optimistic. Sleeping inside a tent on a thermarest pad wearing lightweight capilene top & bottoms, I was cozy to about 40 degrees here in wet Oregon. My upper body was not as cozy as my legs were. I do tend to sleep on the cold side. I can adjust for cooler temperatures with clothing. I am satisfied with this summer bag mainly for it's light weight & value. If you're thinking of trimming your pack weight, you may want to consider this bag.
