If you are looking for an ULTRA lightweight, waterproof and breathable jacket STOP LOOKING. I've used this jacket for about five months. It has proven very waterproof and VERY windproof. As with many waterproof products, it often can't breathe as quickly as an active body produces moisture. The pit zips help when extra venting is needed.
Keep in mind the purpose of this jacket - it may not be suited for your everyday adventure. The material is extremely lightweight and although I've not yet torn it, it may not stand up well to continuous rough treatment. Overall if you want to have something for ultralight backpacking or something that's great for your day pack because of its lightness and compactability, this is a great choice.
