I thought my Traverse was a killer daypack, this North Face might be the BEST DAYPACK I've ever had. The pack has 12 full-day day hikes under its belt and it's an all-star so far. The back cooling system puts every other vent system to shame, and the hip belt wraps your hips perfectly. Not too much padding in the straps, so you've got an all-day comfortable pack. I'd take this on hikes, to a picnic, everywhere, except maybe work.
