Here's what other sites are saying:

Set your line and charge down the mountain with the weatherproof, non-insulated The North Face Freedom pants in short lengths. They have all the features the bell-to-bell crowd could ever want.

- REI

The Freedom Pant's relaxed fit puts a modern spin on The North Face's more traditional style. In addition to a modern look, the Freedom's loose fit allows for a full range of motion, so you can throw more modern style on your airs while you're at it. In order to hold off storms and keep water from getting to your skin, the Freedom pant starts with a tough nylon shell and a waterproof breathable HyVent 2L laminate. The pant's Chimney Vent cooling system, which funnels air from the StretchVent gaiters to the inner thigh vents, keeps things comfortable once the sun comes out to heat things up. Not to be outdone in the storage space department, the Freedom pant comes with two hand pockets and a large cargo pocket on the right thigh. To finish things off, The North Face hooked the pant up with reinforced kickpatches and edge guards to protect the pant from sharp ski edges and muddy parking lots.
