The North Face Fury Gore-Tex XCR specialized in nothing other than outdoor versatility--and does it better than most hybrids that make the same claims. The upper consists of a durable combination of Nubuck leather and pig suede in varying densities to give you the right amount of protection without weighing you down in excesses. The North Face added a TPU shank and forefoot protection plate in the lightweight EVA midsole for protection along the bottom.
