This is my favorite of all the three The North Face daypacks I own.
It has a unique side loading access (Right-side), which opens all the way from top to bottom (Right-angle). It means easy access for all my gear while wearing the pack on one strap. The large zippers look darn durable and have never failed--easy to open and close.
This pack has only one external pocket (Right-side) and a delightful feature beloved to The North Face...a key-holder clip.
On the right there is a large mesh pocket to hold a 1 litre Nalgene bottle. On the front of the pack are two rows of daisy chains in red, and Bungee-cord webbing, great for stashing wet/damp clothes.
This technical daypack was made for rock-climbing, and it's still my favorite even after buying two more The North Face Daypacks, and the latest Arc-teryx Spear daypack with watertight zippers.
Pity this pack is discontinued. Any change North Face is reading this? Resurect this pack!
