Great lightweight trek shoe.
Warm, good breath-ability. Not as waterproof as could be. needs to be more durable 10days trekking commercial tourist trails in Nepal, 5 days trekking jungle trails in India left sole very worn & separating from upper at front and stitching starting to come loose.
Grip- both inclines & flat
10/10 hard surfaces: rocks & boulders, city
6/10 loose surfaces: sand, dust and stones
9/10 loose surfaces: twigs, grass & leaves
10/10 wet & dry vegetation
8 hrs walking 9/10 (feet hardly sweaty, occasionally around toes)
Heat & humidity 10/10 (no sweating in jungle)
Snow 7/10 in at ankle and upper lace area
Rain: not tested yet.
Mud: very good, easy to clean after 7/10
Water: washing, puddles & streams 9/10
Drying: after washing & wet conditions & sweat 8/10
9/10 (did not have cold feet or toes at all in snow, -20°C or with wet feet)
Laces 3/10 (fell apart immediately)
Outer shell 6/10 (damage from light trekking, wording fell off, separation of glued sole layers, my friend did same trek in Nike trainers)
Inner sole 8/10 (still comfortable and supportive, clean, with no smell after 2wks solid walking, socks were a different matter)
Outer sole 7/10 (lots of wear from light to moderate use on rocks)
