This is the BEST backpack I have ever owned. It has lasted through 2 years of hiking and 2 years of nursing school (on a moped, no less).

If you live in a rainy area (ie Seattle) you will love the rain fly. There are lots of pockets (all sizes) for school or hiking items and the water bottle pockets are easy to access. I just padded the bladder pocket to fit my Mac for a versatile computer bag. I am just buying a new one again.
