The North Face Phoenix 3

Single wall tents are a great way to keep weight down, but you do need to manage the air flow to prevent condensation on cool nights. It is just one more skill. North Face did a great job on this design. It is palatial for two adults and comfortable for three. An easy dry pitch.
Pros
- Dry pitch
- Lightweight
- Excellent doors offer protection in rain and one handed zipper operation.
Cons
- Condensation
This tent pitches fast and easy without a footprint. No holes in the floor yet and I don't expect any. Pitched smooth and taut, and the doors work great one handed.
It is very easy to leave the rain outside when entering during a storm. Learn to pitch with a door facing the wind to enhance ventilation. Forcing ventilation really solves the condensation issue.
