This bag is hotter than the hinges of HELL! I have spent many nights sleeping in negative degree weather and it damn near smokes me out. Just sleeping on top of the opened bag will keep you warm enough. You'll build some muscles stuffing this beast back into its sack though. I suggest wearing protective headgear until you get the hang of it cause if it springs back you might not wake up until summer.
