User Review: The North Face Sure Shot

Rating: ![]()
Price Paid: $89.90 at RockyMountainTrail.com
This bag has shoulder straps which are too stiff and uncomfortable. I'm 6'2" and the straps go right into my neck. I had a shorter woman check it out and she had the same issue.
This pack will hold a laptop and some gear. It has a small top "music" pocket, which just means a pocket labeled with a little rubber speaker.
There are two mesh side pockets with drawstrings suitable for water bottles. I've seen reviews saying the strings break easily.
The North Face makes bags with very comfortable shoulder straps, but these straps just have no give, so I can't recommend this pack. It gets 2 stars for good workmanship (straps aside) and large, easy-sliding YKK zippers.
