I live in the mountains of Virginia and love to tent camp in early March to trout fish. In previous years I had been subjected to temps down to 12 degrees at night in the mountains of Bath County with a 40 degree bag. Misery is an understatement!
I purchased this bag and tested it out the following March. Temps in the mountains of Bath in early March can range from 12-20 degrees at night. This bag can easily handle 18-20 degrees F, but I wouldn't recommend it for temps lower than 18. Great 3 season bag, but if you're going to be in a tent in the mountains with temps in the low teens, this is not the bag to take.
