Summary

Great quality, durable, packs easily.

Pros

  • Fabrick quality
  • Strong and easy to use starps

Cons

  • Not color coded with tent

The footprint matching your tent is a must. I never had one with my old VE 24 and always struggled to find the right sized tarp. Straps with multiple grommets make it easy to set up, but if the straps were color coded to match the entrance and exit sides of the tent, it would be perfect.

Setting the tent in the dark, you quickly realize when the footprint is off, and grommetted strap system makes it easy to quickly adjust. Color coding would totally eliminate this problem.

I would recommend the footprint anyway. Just make sure you set up in daylight and color code the sides yourself with the first use.
