Version reviewed: vibram sole

I can't say enough about these boots. I bought them six years ago and they've never let me down. The sole has plenty of traction and I can't detect any wear. I can walk through streams and stay dry. I snowshoe and they keep my feet warm. I've hiked a few 14ers in them, some long backpacking treks, and some day hikes and they are equally comfortable for it all.

Friends tease me about their height and weight, but they give the support they should. I don't blister or slip. I wear a Birkenstock boot arch support in them for my low arches. I now think Timberland is the Toyota of boots.
