User Review: Tubbs Men's Couloir Series

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Price Paid: $150

I go to the BWCA winter camping every year and I really like these shoes. Easy to put on, accommodate large boots (currently using Cabela's Inferno 2000 on the coldest days), light weight, and a positive hold.

A feature I really appreciate is the heel lift. It really reduces fatigue on the steep hills when pulling a pulk.

The previous review commented on a desire for a spring to keep the shoe tight to the bottom of the foot (like Atlas). I would have to disagree in that the dangle does a great job of not requiring me to lift a load of snow and flip it on my back.

I would recommend these to a friend and intend to walk them into the ground.
