These boots are very comfortable and light. I would not recommend them for cold weather or for very wet hiking.

I wore them a few times while camping and hiking, and they did fine until I started stepping into a lot of puddles.  I was trekking through a lot of deep puddles and mud around a lake that we were fishing at and my feet were constantly cold and wet. I was wearing cotton socks, but I assume it would be warmer with wool socks.

Great boots for the money I paid for them, I am looking for a warmer, water-resistant pair for heavy hiking though.
