I found these on sale thru the mail and bought them because Vasque carries narrow sizes (I wear an A or B). This is a good general hiking and backpacking boot. I usually wear Sundowners. I've used them in the Wind Rivers and Tetons, with and without a pack. These aren't much heavier than Sundowners (which are lite). I've started using these more than any others I own because they're so comfortable and still a pretty substantial boot.
