Verve Cassandra Bra
Source: bought via a "pro deal"
Price Paid: $25
The Cassandra Sports bra is built for real women who want to be active without hiding or falsely advertising anything.
- Full shoulder mobility
- Crossed back straps
- Great colors
- Great fit
- Usually out of stock
Mainly this bra is great for climbing because of the crossed back straps and allowance for large shoulder muscles (some bras cut into the front of the shoulder).
For the first 15 years of climbing, I bought any cheap sports bra that was under $10 at Target or a consignment shop. I finally doled out $25 (with a store discount) for a real sports bra after hearing so many recommendations. I always figured they were too skimpy, but the coverage isn't a problem.
Finding one in stock usually apparently is though.

The Cassandra bra, designed for women with a larger bust (C or D cup), is comfortable and looks great! Unlike other sports bras that create a uni-boob effect, the Cassandra has flattering lines that will give you a nice, feminine look, without compromising functionality.
The design is simple, yet it still provides the support necessary for most types of activity and exercise, especially yoga and climbing. The cross straps that move independently provide a wider range of motion than other sports bras, and keep the Cassandra secure and snug to your body (no uncomfortable wire needed).
Made from a combination of the highest quality organic cotton (88%) and lycra (12%) with a Cool Max lining, the Cassandra feels soft against your skin and wick away moisture quickly. It’s available in solid or two-toned colors that enhance its graceful and flattering fit.
