Design: 3 season, hoop design
Sleeps: 2
Ease of Setup: Practise at home first, after that it's a breeze!
Weight: 5.6 lbs.
Price Paid: $139 this particular model only sold thru Campmor
I was hesitant at first in purchasing a tent with so much "mesh," but after spending a few days in the Stein valley in hot and stuffy evenings the tent was a dream to sleep in!
Removing the fly at night provides one with an unobstructed view of the heavens.
Although the tent is rated for two people I suggest that the second person better be a loved one or a "close" friend. It surpassed an unexpected thunderstorm without a single leak, this is due to the superb factory sealing that the Walrus Co. is known for.
Only drawback is that the fly tended to snag when pulled on quickly, but this can be remedied by slowly tugging at the zippers. Looking forward to many more trips with my new tent and praying for clear evenings to fully appreciate the "Shadow."
