Wolverine Crossbuck Waterproof LX

rated 4 of 5 stars Fully waterproof, this boot will keep your feet dry during winter activities. Vibram Artic-Grip soles for secure walking on slippery surfaces. Insulated to keep feet warm. A great boot for snowshoeing, snowmobiling, or hiking. The Wolverine Crossbuck LX boot is a new arrival to Wolverine's line of winter boots. The Crossbuck LX is a full leather cousin to the already popular Crossbuck FX boot. I was able to get an early sample of this boot from Wolverine for testing in February of 2016 and gave… Full review

The North Face Men's Chilkats

rated 0.5 of 5 stars Comfortable and warm, but lasted 20 minutes walking. Bought these boots to wear when snowboarding, but decided to wear them out walking. They lasted 20 minutes before the right toe area completely split. Such a shame as lovely comfortable boot. North Face quality!! Full review

The North Face Arctic Hedgehog Tall Boot

rated 4 of 5 stars Overall this boot is a great value; rigid, watertight but reasonably breathable, and overall great construction and forethought. I have used these boots in the Canadian Rockies during the most challenging season, early spring thaw, when plenty of mud, ice, unforeseen puddles, and concealed slippery roots are all lying in wait for a possible mishap, but the footwear performs flawlessly; great traction, insulated, and superior support without many hot-spots. When you're hiking, one should generally… Full review

The North Face Men's Chilkats

rated 0.5 of 5 stars Do not buy them. Wore them once in the snow, seemed fine. Second time I wore them the whole upper section came off. Buy a Euro brand. NF, shame on you! Full review

Oboz Men's Bridger Mid BDry Insulated

rated 4 of 5 stars Insulated, waterproof, and comfortable, the Oboz Bridger Mid Insulated is made for those who stay active all winter long. Great with snowshoes, spikes, or on their own. When cold weather calls for a little insulation, but you don't want to be slowed down by heavier, sub zero gear, these boots are ready to go. Fresh from the trail you can see where snow melt has puddled a bit below the laces on top of the shoe. Those areas took a bit longer to dry, but I never found any moisture seeping through to… Full review

The North Face Men's Chilkats

rated 0.5 of 5 stars Split apart at the rubber/leather seam. NF told me to go fly a kite. What a joke, because they are warm, waterproof*, and cozy. Up until they fall apart for no reason. Bye bye, North Face. Never again. Comfy and warm, until you decide to not wear them. Then they fall apart. Thanks, North Face. I'll be shipping you none of my business for the rest of my life.  Full review

The North Face Women's Chilkats II Boots

rated 0.5 of 5 stars Fell apart!!! Sub standard materials. Made in China....enough said. I never had a really nice, warm pair of boots so I finally spent the money on The North Face boots. LOVED them as my feet were finally warm when out in the snow. That is until today when I am about 2 miles from home and look down at what I thought was snow on the toe of my boot till I realized it was the lining because the rubber broke apart.  These are about 3-4 years old and stored indoors!!! These have been worn several times… Full review

L.L.Bean Women's Bean Boots, 6"

rated 4 of 5 stars These boots are wonderfully dry and warm to keep you comfortable in all weather but one. In winter weather, which switches between thaw and frost, there will be thick ice on the ground and you need to have good antislides added to your soles or you will fall continuously!! This boot gives a very good fit, is a little tricky to get on, but easy to get out of.   It keeps you warm, dry, and comfortable in all weather.  I think perhaps there has been an inner insulator, but I do not know since my… Full review

Salomon Men's X Ultra Winter CS WP

rated 5 of 5 stars Great winter boot used for snowshoeing, feet dry and warm. Great fit and comfort. Feet are warm and dry even covered in snow. Awesome traction even on ice. Totally lived up to expectations. UPDATE: Used several times, no break-in time, does everything advertised, maybe the best boot I've ever bought. Full review
