Muck Boot Arctic Outpost Lace Mid

rated 4 of 5 stars A fully waterproof winter boot with a leather upper. Multi-directional lugs provide excellent grip. Winter conditions become a lot more manageable when wearing a good pair of winter boots. This winter I switched to the Muck Boot Arctic Outpost lace-up mid-height boot after 40 years of wearing a popular Canadian brand, and I couldn't be happier. Having lived in heavy snow country for many years I've gotten used to living in winter boots for months at a time and having a pair that are comfortable… Full review

Steger Mukluks Arctic

rated 0.5 of 5 stars Couldn't fit on my foot, and limited refund. I recently tried to buy a pair of boots from Steger, had a problem getting my foot beyond the narrow ankle. They suggested an alternate pair, the same problem. The ankle opening is too narrow. When I returned them, they stated that the postage is on the customer, so they don't want to refund my full purchase. I have paid for shipping on a product I cannot use and no longer have. Poor effort on their part to make this right. Not the only one who has run… Full review

The North Face Men's Chilkats

rated 0.5 of 5 stars Made from improper materials. My Chilkats are maybe three years old and I wear them solely for snowblowing during New England winters. I've worn them approximately fifteen times. When they're not on my feet, they're stored in the house. About four weeks ago, I took them out of the closet and found the right boot had four or five major cracks in the rubber material, wide enough to expose the insulation inside. Then, a few weeks later, the same thing happened to the left boot! This is clearly a failure… Full review

The North Face Men's Chilkats

rated 0.5 of 5 stars I concur with everyone on these poor reviews as well as the lack of response from TNF. Nothing to add, other than I have purchased my last The North Face product. Full review

The North Face Men's Chilkats

rated 0.5 of 5 stars Rubber area suddenly cracks and crumbles. These were bought new about four years ago. Worn lightly to shovel snow and visit local stores, the tread shows little to no wear. While shoveling snow today, the rubber area covering the feet fell apart without any warning. By the time my husband came in, large chunks had fallen off.  Full review

The North Face Men's Chilkats

rated 1 of 5 stars Cracked after minimal use. VERY EXPENSIVE ITEM. Sounds like class action lawsuit, Lemon Law??? Something should be done. I wonder how many people just chunk em in garbage. Sad. Overpriced plastic junk  Full review

Baffin Men's Impact

rated 5 of 5 stars These are about the best cold weather boots money can buy. These are the boots to buy when you have serious weather to deal with or you are fed up of buying boots from companies that make false claims. These are about the best cold weather boots money can buy. When you see them in real life you will realize what it takes to keep safe in extreme temps. And NO they are not meant for climbing because they are made for much colder environments, but there again no one has ever lost their toes wearing… Full review

The North Face Women's Chilkats

rated 0.5 of 5 stars I had the exact same experience with the lower rubber portion of the boot starting to crack with chunks of the material falling off completely after being worn only a few times. I had not worn them more than 5-7 times.  Very disappointing. Full review

Sorel Conquest

rated 1 of 5 stars Not real rubber, they use a thermoplastic material, which is not suitable to be stitched through. Witness the countless people experiencing catastrophic failure of a seam where leather upper meets bottom. This cannot even be cobbled for repair! Sorel used to make quality products. Buyer beware, these look like excellent, durable boots...they simply are not and the SOREL warranty is pitiful. After Sorel refused to send me a new pair, when I notified them the boot seam had separated, I tried to get… Full review
