Occupation: Glass artist
Typical Alaskan boomer chick. Hot glass artist specializing in botanical pieces. Don't get out as much as I'd like for multi-day trips, but luckily, we live near Chugach State Park, so day-hiking in the mountains is only five-minutes away. Have six tents, two MSR's, a Nemo Losi, two NF, and a vintage Moss Trillium, which is pristine and lovely, but hasn't gotten much action since a wet, week-long bear viewing trip to McNeil River Sanctuary on the Alaska Peninsula a few years ago. Usually in smaller tents now. Just bought a new EB First Ascent Karakoram bag, (though the 30-year old EB orange expedition bag is still wonderfully preserved, unlike myself.) Hopefully, the DH and I will go winter camping more this year. Cheers, everybody.
