Bearwalker

Im a big fan of Backpacking and hiking in general. I currently "get out there" on weekends and since I recently moved closer to the Appalachian Trail..I can actually go out for a quick hike during the weekdays. Im lucky enough to live close to the Delaware Water Gap national recreation area, Stokes Forest, High Point State Park to name a few getaways. On vacations I travel to different hiking areas (Oct. 2010 its back to my favorite "Shenandoah Natl Park" for ten days :) and will be heading out west to Mt. Hood area next year.

I did a Southbound thru hike (A.T.) in 2008 and since then am having a blast finding new trails in my state and surrounding states. As far as my goals go...I hope to do the PCT or the Camino de Santiago trail someday in the not so distant future.
