I live in city and everyday I think about the mountains. Not the oak covered hills on the coast but the tall snow covered mountains that one can see on the rare day that air quality, humidity and temperature are all just right for unparalleled clarity. I also dream of the mountains that I've never seen, the ones that are across oceans and continental plates.

Work and school contrive to keep me in the city at least for the next few months. Until then I keep busy climbing in the gym, riding my bike and planning for adventures. I'd like to climb some ridges in the Sierra this summer and introduce my boyfriend to things like Matthes Crest and Tuloumne slab climbing. I'm also planning a backpack trip to Kings Canyon and Emigrant wilderness.
