I've been in love with the outdoors for as long as I can remember.
As a member of the scouting organization, I traversed the backcountry of Virginia for my childhood. We would go on long distance biking, ski/snowboarding, and hiking trips.
I started getting serious with my infatuation about a year ago. I went on my first section hike of the Appalachian Trail this summer with a friend of mine (hiked the Maryland section), and I plan to do more next year. Aiming for a through hike NB in a couple of years once I have graduated from university.
There is never a reason for a person to not get outside. Too hot? Strip a bit. Too cold? Layer up. Rainy? Jump in the puddles.
