Roaming the Colorado Front Range on foot or on bike.  Trial running and day hiking are my favorite excuses to get outside.  When I can, an overnight or two backpacking trek is a real treat.  You can find me most weekends in the mountains north and west of Boulder.

Most of my trips these days are either with my young son or solo.  I would welcome meeting new friends for some expeditions.

I am comfortable alone in the backcountry in all seasons.  Once upon a time I was a competitive bike racer and mountain runner.  While not exactly in racing shape any more, an hour or two run on the trails is still my idea of a good time.
