I hike, backpack, climb, trail run, and mountain bike. I enjoy rafting, but cannot abide being stuck in a kayak. I try to fit as many fourteeners into the summer as possible. My goal is to run up a fourteener by the end of the summer.

I rabble-rouse in my spare time. I hope to parlay my passion for social and environmental justice into a career imparting the importance of care and respect for other living things to all sorts of people in a way that eventually affects personal action and public policy.
