I have been camping, hiking, canoeing, and kayaking since 2000. I have been an avid outdoor adventurer all my life. As a video producer, videographer, and editor, I have traveled all over the United States, Alaska, and two foreign countries shooting video outdoors. I have videotaped whales off the coast of Maine for the U.S. Navy, shot video on numerous occasions in Alaska at -55 degrees F. I hotly pursue adventure now with my work and in play. In the summer months, I car camp alot with my family, especially in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. I LOVE gear, especially cutting edge backpacking, camping, electronics, and clothing gear. I love gear so much that I currently own 12 tents, 13 sleeping bags, 5 backpacks, 7 daypacks, and 4 GPS units. My friends call me the "gear nerd". I love experimenting with new gear.
